Purchasing an 03TL s Nav

I am moving from my 01 TLw/nav to an 03TLs w/nav. My 01 has 127k, and after paying for one tranny I don't want to have to pay for another so I am getting an 03 w/h 34k( I know, I am a glutton for punishment but I like the car). And since my commute is much shorter now I won't hit 100k while I own it. ( going from a 100 mile round trip commute to work to a 30 mile round trip. Anyway I wrote all of this b/c I am a cheap bastard and I don't want to pay $25 for a carfax, does anyone have one they can spare? If not its cool jus figured I would ask....

the '03's suffer from tranny problems too, I just got the same one youre talking about, mines Aegean blue though. Anyway, check if yours has had the oil jet kit installed, if not your car is probably under the tranny warranty and you wouldn't have to worry anyway.

tru that, however I jus wanted to make sure it hasn't been in any wrecks, flooded, etc. No matter though if no one has one a carfax to spare I will jus buy one. I only asked b/c I have seen it done in this forum b4.

How much did the out of warranty tranny cost you? Did you get it done at the dealer?

I just bought a silver 2003 TL-P last week. I bought a carfax membership to check on cars when I was car shopping and don't mind shooting you the report. Send me the VIN and your email.

Oh, and for price comparison sake, in case you are interested, I paid $21,700. Certified Acura with 34K. Not a great deal, but I was in a hurry and it was only a little higher than what I considered a fair price. Much less than the inflated $23,860 asking price at least.
