Pulse Neon Mod *Vid*

hey wassup guys i posted this in the photography section but i thought it could be used here too....so all i did was get 2 16" red streetglow neon tubes, took off the cig lighter adapater, and hooked up the pos/neg wires to my amp in the trunk (ran the wires through the saftey seatbelt thing)

The neons would be alright if you plan on using it just at shows... but I think it would get really annoying if you used them while drivng.


Im not sure why you would want to take a video of you racing down a residential street showing off your CAI but hey thats just me. I just hope you dont live in that neighborhood or if you do I hope your neighbors dont say anythng about it. I am just saying this becuase somene snitched on me for driving like that and I had the cops at my door!

haha yeah i drive around like that....i havent gotten any probs yet but i dont drive alot @ night so its coo

just a little thing to do cause summers been boring

oh yeah its an aftermarket...its 2 12" rockford fosgate Punch subs, the older ones when RF's were good

I love the video of the intake , Hate the light but becarfull looks like there were alot of people around to be driving like that. Not hating just watch out for kids.

Do the neons come on instantenously? I thought neons had transformers and required a "startup" similar to how our HID works with ballasts. If so, then pulsing the power for the neons might damage them.

Nice vids. If ya got time, maybe hook up some LEDs in the stereo grills rather than the big neons for a more subtle look.
