PROUD OWNER OF A 2003 TL Type - S !!!

Got a 2003 TL Type - S Anthracite. Was wondering what should be my first mod? Does the stock K&N air filter increase performance?

Also, where do you sugest I look for rims, and I want to replace my stock tires, what should I replace them with ?

peace.

The underbody areo kit. Other than that, I recommend leaving alone. It is a georgous car.

CAI is the easy install and relatively cheap mod for good initial power increase.

If you stick with stock rims, go with 235/45/17. I have Cont Extremes and lik them a lot

Who makes those tires? I assume getting 235s, also improves handling? And how about K&N air filter (stock) ?

Continental tires, and the 235's are awesome handling. The KN filter is OK, but you can pull the lower air box-(do a search) to get the equivalet of a Cold Air Intake.

How much are the extreme tires? I assume I should get them balanced after installation ? Also has this slowed your car down at all ?

1. OEM Kit
2. Springs (Comptech, H&R) .. or if you got some money to burn, get Coilovers (TEIN SS w/EDFC)
3. Intake/Headers/Exhaust
4. Tints
5. Audio

Welcome and congrats on the purchase!

Alright first things first, definitely getting performance tires this weekend. Can fit 235s on my stock 17s?

I just got a 2002 Type S, and I like the clean look of no spoiler or underbody kit. That's just my opinion though.

Have you not seen the OEM Kit? You'd be the first to say that our cars look better w/o the kit...
