Smile A Proud New TL Owner!

That's right, I went out and got my dream car, the Acura TL, a 2000, in a really deep blue color (could someone tell me the real name of the color, the one that Acura gives it?) I am so incredibly happy with it, and even more happy about the price! The car is so powerful, I just couldn't imagine it being so fast and ready to pounce, I think the leather is great quality, very supple, and no offense to the MANY of you Bose-Haters, but I was actually impressed by the TL's system! After reading the posts about it here, I had braced myself for the worst, although I am moving up from a stock Accord system, so maybe I would have been happier with anything for that matter

I look forward to driving my TL proudly for years to come. Thanks to everyone here who answered my questions about the car, you all really pushed me over the edge to go ahead and make the purchase!

by the way, can someone tell me: what is that Auto button for on the rear view mirror?

Thanks,
Joe

Well, let me be one of the first to say Congrats! Reading your post made me smile as I remembered the first few days after purchasing mine. (I also like my Bose stereo.)

Anyway, the "AUTO" button you mentioned should control the "Auto Dimming" feature for your mirror. If it's on and a car comes up behind you with bright headlights - your mirror should dim auto-magically for ya.

Enjoy your new ride!

V.

I paid 12,599 - but I won't even tell you the mileage... let's just say it was under 100k but definitely over the average

Ya wholesale for a 70k mileage 2000 TL is around 13k so you got it almost under wholesale..
