The cutoff depends on the projector you decide to get. On the TL pictured they installed s2000 projectors, which have a very good cutoff.

I had this done a super long time ago, before there were shrouds or anything to make the retro look pretty. IMO, it still looked hot even though under the hood it was terrible. It definately changed the look of the front of the car for sure, and will make the car look less dated.

^^there was no cap or anything. this was quite sometime ago, apporx 4 years when retros were first starting to be done. so the back end of the projector was pretty much out in the open under the hood. it looked VERY ghetto. i always thought the mark of a really good retrofitter is one who shows the back of the housings after everything is done. I wish this guy whose pictures are above posted the back of his. REV01 completed a very nice set of GS/Q45 retros like the ones on my car, and his craftmanship looked awesome...

If you go to the website and check out the cars they've retrofitted the projectors, they show the back side on some photos and almost looks stock looking. Some of the mods they do are sick.

I didn't really want those but that all I could fine at the time. good looking shrouds are hard to come by.this was my first time but we are going to do mine over agian anyway. I wanted to see if I would really like the lighting and tell a differents. I will never buy another car unless it has hid/projectors. when your driving down the road it shoots so far and wide.

i have to say they look end result looks awesome, but to do it correctly it takes alot of time....the q45 i did while ago even has working bulb covers...so to change the bulb is a piece of cake...when i do stuff to customer's car i always think about what if i have to take apart to service...

btw i redid that set of headlights...added a better angel ring on the high beam and painted to a more lighter gunmetal with more flakes color

They are on the southside of richmond,va. I bought a extra set because it will take anywhere form 3-4 weeks maybe longer. they don't do this in a day. They do alot of retrofits. you need to email them and they will tell you everything you want to know

He's a local friend of mine so you would need to talk to him as far as how much you would pay for labor and parts

I think it looks real good like that. Doesn't make the headlights look out of place. Anyone who see's them might think there stock.

And thanks to me I shed some more light for customlightz.com...lol

Good work.
