programing remotes
if u got it at the dealer u can bring the car in and a service guy can do it it takes 5 minutes, i dont remember the instructions basically u turn the key all the way to the last spot b4 the engine start and press the remote unlock button each time and after the 3rd one the dorrs should unlock , then u grab the other remote and press that one and it should program too and then turn the car on then off and test both remotes, kinda confusing but im too lazy to do the search on here to give u exact consise instructions
Keyless entry Remote can be program by doing the following, you must program all remotes at the same time, else the remotes not included in the programming will not work.
Make sure the codes in the back of the new remote matches your old stock remote. Some key fob may look the same but won't work with each other. Be sure to have all Key fobs you want working with you when you do this.
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2 Within 1-4 seconds push the transmitter lock or the unlock button.
3 Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch OFF
4 Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch ON (II).
5 Within 1-4 seconds push the transmitter lock or the unlock buttin.
6. Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch OFF.
7. Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch ON (II).
8. Within 1-4 seconds push the transmitter lock or the unlock button.
9. Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch OFF.
10. Within 1-4 seconds turn the ignition switch ON (II).
11. Within 1-4 seconds push the transmitter lock or the unlock button.
12. Confirm you can hear the sound on the door lock actuators. Within 1-4 seconds, push the transmittor lock or onlock button again.
13. Within 10 sec, aim the transmitters whos codes you want to store at the receiver, and press the transmitter lock or unlock buttons. Confirm that you can hear the sound of the door lock actuators after each transmitter code is stores. Make sure you program all transmitters you want working within 10 seconds of each other. Ones not included in this programming will no longer work.
14. Turn the ignition switch OFF, and pull out the key
15. Confirm proper operation with the new codes.

while this thread is open i have a question.....I bought an extra remote for my 2002 tl and decided to add it on to the system just as a back up remote.
However the 2 one is got with the car had a memoary 1 and 2 on them and the other one i bought did not have a memory (for seat setting)
the Problem i had was that whenever i tried to program the Non memory remote my other remotes wouldn't be recognized.
and yes i know all three have to be programed at once. (which i tried a numerous times)
After a while i gave up and just reprogramed the 2 original ones and the non memory one is just sitting there.
Is the remote i bought for the TSX or CL (or some other Acura without memory seats)?
