I'm sure I'm not the first one to make this conversion. Just thought I'd share though....

Save target as: Clicky

BTW: I know geocities sucks for hosting vids, but it's all I could think of.

I'm not positive, but I think some of the older TLs didn't beep on the 2nd lock, they honked the horn instead. Could that be the change?

You mean besides the lights being cleared? I give up on this riddle.

I'd imagine it was the clearing... Since I was concentrating on the locking/unlocking at first I didn't notice or think that the clearing was what he was talking about, but thats my guess.

You're close, but still don't have it. Look at the headlights and the grill. What year is my car? Now, look at the fob I'm using. Now do you see the significance of the video?

Oh, and my car's headlights aren't cleared, they're totally untouched.

Ohh ... the video was of him pressing the fob to lock/unlock the car. The fob is the keyless entry remote for your car. The '99-01 fobs look different than the '02-03 TL fob.

BTW- orcaatk, your headlights look clear in the movie...

Only took a few guesses to finally get the right answer ... Good job shogun!

You need to save the movie to view it. So, right click the link and do a "Save Target As" (or whatever steps you usually take to save a linked file)

They line up as they are (as in, the buttons in both remotes are in the same location). If you want or are interested, I can put together DIY instructions. Just let me know.
