Problems w/ Audio Controls and Low Idle???

Hey all,

I just got my car back from the dealer. I was having them install my Tokico and Comptech suspension combo. While they were doing that I had them replace the back door panels since they were separating. Two days later I got the car back and everything is good to go. I looked at the receipt and I had two other repairs/adjustments done that I did not ask for. I questioned the Service Representative and he said this was a common complaint from other owners. Well one repair had to do with our audio controls on the steering wheels, I guess they don't work properly, so they adjusted the sensors on the steering wheel. The next adjustment was to the throttle body, people were complaining of low idle speed, well they adjusted the idle speed and cleaned/lubed the throttle body. Well I just wanted to know if anybody else heard about these complaints. I have to give it up the the people at Lynnwwod Acura. I didn't ask for the adjustments, they just did it. So thank you Lynnwood Acura.

I didn't have any problems with them either, but the technician who checked the car said they were in need of adjustment. So they adjusted them.

the low idle is a really big problem only when restarting the car a few minutes after driving...was it a recall or was it under warranty??

I never had any problems. They did it under warranty I guess, he said people were just complaining about them. I don't believe there is a recall. Anybody know any different.

There isn't a recall, but it happens so often that there should be one. My radio controls were messed up. Every once in a while, actually quite often, the volume up button would change the station or skip to the next track and volume down would make the volume increase. Who knew...and a lot of people been having problems with coin trays because coins get stuck in the back sometime.
