I recently purchased a 2000 with 80k miles for $11.3k. It came with 18" black rims, lowered, full tint, and lowered. I wasn't sure if this was a good deal or not, and if i should be wary of something falling apart in the near future.

Also, I'm not sure if this is a problem with the car, but I get problems with steering. I drive around UC San Diego, and the streets are all messed up. Whenever I go over a street that has a bump on one side, the steering wheel seems to lock up in that direction. The wheel doesn't feel smooth when I'm turning either. Should I go get this checked out?

Get your front end checked out as it should not display those symptoms as you described.

 

Yup get it checked out and did you make sure that the car hasnt been in an accident before? Check the title out for warranty purposes, Hmmm you should of had the car checked out before you bought it or else you ll end up buying a FAT piece of LEMON.

Yeah it seemed alrite when i was looking at it. I tried going to mechanic to get a pre purchase inspection, but the mechanic told me it was too low to get it on the boards or something... Should I just go to any honda or acura mechanic, and how much do you think it would cost to get it looked at?

 

If your going to pay for someone to look at it you might as well bring it to the dealer whow actually knows what to look for
