Depends on your dealer. They seem to range from Excellent to Are you kidding me. All the issues mentioned should be addressed by the dealer (ideally). There is a tranny issue that the dealer cannot fix. It's a design flaw. But if it craps out, they should replace it if you're under warranty.

If you have a competent dealer, yes, it should all be fixed. I've taken my car in twice now to fix a dash rattle and it's still there.

And the rotors will be fixed the first time probabaly with no hesitation, after that it becomes a battle.

Yes, the dealer should cover repairs for all this stuff. I bought my car new from Bridgewater Acura in NJ and have had no problems having "little" things fixed, free of charge.

Only problems that I have had with my 03 TLS

* tranny went at 38k miles.... dealer replaced under warranty
* vinyl moulding (exterior) around windows cracked and peeled. Dealer had the car sent to a body shop where they stripped off the vinyl and painted/clearcoated the surfaces gloss black....looks excellent
* rotors resurfaced by dealer at 30k miles
* driver's side heated seat crapped out - replaced w/o question.

And that is it.... i've had no squeaks, rattles, or any of the other problems mentioned in previous posts. Car was bought in Aug. 2002 and has 53k miles on it now.

I have an interesting little story , I had both upper ball joints replaced on mine at 6,300 Kilometers. ( roughly 3,700 miles ) . Was told by service manager , ( when I questioned what was going on here. ), that there was a bad batch and that my car was won of the infected numbers . Is this true or is it B #$% S #$%^ , who knows??????????

Too many to list. Don't worry about things that could go wrong. Just fix it as it happens. Enjoy the ride and welcome to the Type-S club.

dang, you figured they would test the car for a long time, drive it hard, etc. before selling it since they are asking lots of money for it. Hopefully, you know women driver (my wife) ask her to drive with caution
