Problem with warpped rotors

Hey All,
I searched through the posts and can't find the answer I was looking for.

For those members who have warpped rotors issues, does the steering wheel shake while breaking only when the rotors heat up ?

The reason I asked is because I commute everyday with my TLS (30 minutes away) and I don't feel the steering shaking when I apply the break but if I go for a long trip, such as a non-stop 2-hour drive, I would experience the problem. How do I explain to the dealer since they will test drive the car and will come back with "NO PROBLEM FOUND" since rotors are not hot enough to cause the problem ?

Please advise. Thanks.

Cheers !!!

I've had pretty same issue with the wraped rotors. First dealer I took my car, they test drove my car & replaced front rotors with new pads. After about 10K miles later, it happened again. But really rarely happened. I took my car to another dealer. I was taking my car for something else but I thought why don't I try it since I have nothing to loose. I mentioned that I got my rotors & pads replaced under warranty about 10K miles ago but I am having same problem (I didn't tell him it happens rarely) . The service advisor said, "No problem!" and up-graded my rotors to cross-drilled one under warranty w/o even test drive it.

Woowww !!! You got the cross-drilled rotors for free ??? They are not OEM rotors, are they ? I hope the dealer right here will be as easy-going as your dealer.

I asked the dealer same thing. They're saying it's ACURA approved replacement rotors since they already know OEM rotors suck.
