Problem :sound coming from front drivers wheel

I removed the winter tires 1 week ago, and I was driving with the windows open and I hear a metal rubbing sound from the front drivers wheel. It sounds like metal slightly rubbing, but not loud like squeeky breaks. As I touch the breaks, the sound goes away. I mean just slightly touch the breaks, without the car really slowing down. I know what squeeky breaks sounds like. To me it just sounds like a small piece of metal is spinning with wheel as I go faster. Any ideas??

It sounds like brake pad clips rubbing on your rotors letting you know its time to replace them. Other then that, there is a metal plate behind the rotor and if it gets bent in it will rub against the rotor. If its that, just take a screwdriver and push it away from the rotor.

Hey Bigbluecanuck does this happen to you everytime you drive or only when you drive for a long time(30-45mins+)?
