Problem with the headlights. Help!!

I need some advice.

Two days ago, while driving, the passenger side headlight went out (it had been going from white to pink for about a month, so I thought the bulb finally went out), but it turned on again and then went out again. It did that two or three times.
I didn't drive the car after that, but this morning, I turned on the headlights to check, and now both are out.

(The driver side headlight assembly and bulb were recently replaced due to an accident.)

Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Thanks.

Well its hard to say. It could be a number of things. First thing i would do is take the bulb that was recently replaced and put that in the sided thats been going on and off. See if it works there. If it does, you know that side is just a bad bulb. If it doesnt you will have to do more digging. I would also look at the fuses. The side that just stopped may be either the bulb or ballast.

Thanks fsttyms1. Hoping it's just the fuses.

I don't know the brand name, but the work was done at an Acura dealership, so I am assuming it would be whatever brand Acura uses (if there is a single brand). Also not sure of the ballast. Will check tonight when I get home.

I couldn't wait so went to the dealership. They changed the passenger side bulb and now the lights seem to work perfectly. But the dealership said that whoever replaced the driver side lights, put in the bulb from a TSX, instead of the one for TL. And I should take it back and get it changed.

The driver side (3 months older) bulb is a lot whiter, not blue, than the new one replaced yesterday.

How different are the TSX bulbs? and are they "whiter" than the TL ones?
Thanks again.

it should be the same color, it has however had many hours to burn in. When new they need upto 100hrs to color shift. Thats why you ALWAYS buy hids in PAIRS.

Thanks again.

I just figured that since the other one was only 3 months old, it would be ok.
I am guessing (or hoping atleast) the new one will color shift and look the same color after about 100 hours.
