Post Prices for Americans....

I called Acura Canada and they told me that the US stil hasn't had an official price for 2002 TL-S and TL becuz of the economic problems of the economy. Acura is using a strategy where they don't wanna release the prices too early becuz they don't want consumers and critics to have weeks to ponder the price of the car (if it is too high). They want the impulse buyers to buy right away (they're gonna release the prices within a few days of the car arriving in showrooms so people will just go order when they get the first chance). However, the guy did tell me that the prices should be out in US before March 15, since the car could be in showrooms by then.

Lots of impulses buyers on this forum.
I suggest they hurry out and buy all the new arrivals so I can get in there and cut a smart deal.
If you saw $1,000 laying on the ground would you pick it up?
If I said I would give you $1,000 to wait a month or two before you could have something you really wanted, would you wait?
You betcha!

This is why I am not waiting a few months to save $1,000. I currently have extended a lease on a Saturn SL2. That costs me $279 a month. So if I wait 3 months to save $1,000 the Saturn is going to cost me $837 for those 3 months. So rather than save $163, I'd rather be driving the TL for those 3 months.

The MSRP in Canada is 36$K for the TL and $41K for the TLS. I ordered a TLS and will pay the price. I think I got a good deal on my 99 TL. I also don't believe the prices will change much in 3 months in Canada but I know that the price of my car goes down every month. It will go down more once the new ones hit the showroom.
