Yeah but if you get SSP's (Like me)

You're gonna want the job done right, as in wiring through the wiring harness and through the firewall, and believe me man, that's more than "200-300" dollars. I had to pay 1000 from the Acura Dealership (ACE Dealership too!!!) and it was well worth it.

Non-electrical coilovers are straightforward and you can save yourself a buck.

wow..$1k??!??! that is expensive! you could of had a friend of two help with just the install of the coilovers and have a pro install the edfc. could of saved $700 or so.

its just a few bolts. And yes it takes spring compressors. You can rent them from autozone or buy them for like 30 bucks

haha for some reason eveyrthing i do either takes me 2-3x longer then average person, or i always have left over bolts. LOL
headers took me 9-11 hrs by myself
the front suspension i did with a friend and it took a whole night..
the rear i did myself, i didnt think to remove the sway bar so that got in my way, and i stripped the damn top mount on the stock strut.

sounds like we have the same luck. everything always take longer for me on my car. my suspension took a 2nights -lol about 8-9 hrs total. but we did my friends accord the other day and it only took a few hours. i changed one side brake pad and then the other side got stripped so i now have one new and one old untill i take it to a shop...

you dont necessarily need spring compressors. when i did mine, i just took the whole assembly out and when i got the coils in i went down the block to a shop and slid the guy $15 to take the top hats off

any shell or chevron with a garage should have the air tools to do it. they didnt even use a spring compressor when they did it either, just air tools and about 15 seconds lol

May I ask what your talking about Were talking about putting in coils right? NON electrical coilovers? $1k ? Sorry, I am interested in putting in coils or coilovers. Do you need coil compressors? I did a lift kit on a front end of a 2004 TRD Tundra 4x4 4 door limited and it WAS a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!!!

I WAS thinking of just Einbach coils to lower 1", but so many comments on wearing out stock shocks. What is the best coilover to lower 1" and keep ride pretty nice? Don,t need an Indy car for the streets. I just want to lower my 07 TL-S 1" and make it handle a little better without making it hard like my 1983 Firebird WS-6. I would like to get an all-in-one coil and shock. Many people talk about getting 1 brand of coil, and a diff brand of shock. I just want to get what is the best for my needs all-in-one. I was considering Acura A-Spec coilovers, but not sure if they will give me a definate 1" lowering??? Some say 1/2"???
