About 2 months ago I bought an '02 TL-S w/ 19Kmiles on it. It has Navigation and I paid 22,995. I traded in a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP w/ 80K miles on it and they gave me $8500 for that.

I expected 9500 - 10,000 for the GTP but I wasn't seeing any TL Type S's w/ Navigation and low miles for under 25K so I sorta took the good w/ the bad.

The trade in value is about 18k on a 02 TL-S but you can sell it at maket value at 20's.

 

My lease is up on my 02tls with nav. I'm buying it for 20,226 wich is the buyout amout. It was 60% residual when I leased it. Thus the 20,226. I think it is a great deal since I know my car. I have 31k on it. I don't know why the value is so low for trade in. Mine is in excellent codition and I thought with navi, KBB said closer to 20g for it as trade in value.
