re-circulation valve motor under the dash. Take it to a mechanic.

That’s a interesting way to put it but yeah if you’re are not a do it your selfer then have a mechanic fix it. The re-circ valve motor has a gear in it that the teeth wear off on one side. You could take it apart and flip that gear 180 degrees if you know what you’re doing

I couldn't find a part by the name of the recirculation valve motor.
What is the exact part name?

The part is outrageously expensive. either get one from a pick a part place (if you've already done this repair) or try this repair:

Shouldn't the recirculation control motor be replaced?

There are three types of air mix control motors, mode control motors and recirculation control motors.

oops, yes you are right; it's the recirc motor but i also forgot to mention both of those motors are identical and so the fix applies to both.
