Unhappy Power steering pipe leak

Hello,

I have a 1999 Acura tl That have a small power steering leak, I notice my reservoir was getting low and after investigating i found the fluid dripping from one of the metal pipes. The pipes look rusty and i wanted to know if anyone repaired or replaced their metal power steering pipes? Thanks

There are a couple people around here who have posted recently about it. You might try getting with them to collaborate on it. Word on the street is that it's not easy to do because they run beneath the engine and along the sub frame, I believe.

Thanks chojun, I noticed the routing of the metal pipes underneath the car. Hopefully other members will chime in on how they repaired their power steering pipes.

It's a royal pain to replace. You need to remove part of the subframe that the tubing attaches to. I ended up paying a local shop to replace mine.
