Power Steering fluid /anti freez Low

both my power steering and anti freez were low i used the honda steering fluid
and prestone anti-freez (green color) is the prestone good?
is that the right one?

You can't go wrong with any anti-freeze, as long it's a 50/50 mix.

Well, not exactly. Hondas are supposed to use type-2 coolant that is non-silicate and non-borate.

Usually with our cars and other Japanese cars, you can use any coolant but its always best to use the same type of coolant.

But with cars like BMW's, their coolant is actually "special" and its a blue color. Some people's car actually got messed up with mixing "regular" green coolant with BMW's coolant because it would clump up. But that's just BMW's.

Um...ours is blue, too. I just changed mine last weekend with the Honda coolant.

bimmers have their own special everything,,a nightmare to work on ,,
but paid for a lot of tools and fun

My sister's 97 has actually been pretty easy to work on.

My other sister's 99 VW Passat on the other hand...

^ at least it shows people are using the search button. im not complaining.

on second hand, im thinking about changing ps fluid and doing a coolant flush soon. the stuff is 8.5 years old in my car.
