I dont think Acura ever offered that kind of functionality. I know Mercedes offered it on the C Class Sports Coupe and the E and S classes.

I used to have those on my isuzu trooper I think it was a 95 and I thought it was awesome. when I would drive fast I would make them fold cause I thought it was aerodynamic lol.
and that shared the same platform as the acura suv of that year.

gotta remember though, japan is right hand drive. The mirrors aren't going to be at the same angle as your US mirrors. I think u need to gut both mirrors, combine the right pieces and then you are good to go.

if you are serious i could probably get them for you. But its gonna cost close to, if not more than 300 to get them over here from japan.

set of mirrors - http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f66158373
the switch - http://page12.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j...ion/p107403294

Taking into account what these mirrors could end at, seeing as single mirrors go for around 12,000 yen, and what i costs to get them over here, you are looking at about 200 just for the parts, plus whatever shipping would cost from japan to the usa for them.

I have these on my X5...

What isnt cool is when some idiot folds your mirrors for you. The dealer did this and wore down the teeth of the motor.

Its nice to have but not a necessity. I'd rather keep the heated mirror feature IMHO.

dude heated mirrors are by far one of the greatest assets on the tl. I can't tell you how much I hate driving rentals without them, esp. in rainy conditions. Of course they work great in the winter...but also on rainy days. No more sticking you hand out to wipe the rain off the side mirrors.. Just turn that puppy on and watch the big water droplets reduce in size for visibility!

the mirrors for the tl are super rare. they can come in handy when you need to move the mirror (especially passenger), but heated mirrors help out too.

good luck with your search. let me know if you find them

It is possible to keep the heated mirror function as I did but you have to take apart the motor. I had them and they broke from people moving them manually a bunch of times. Drunks, the dealers, people who dont like them shut etc. Now that I work in a nice area I will put my spares on. We dont have the relays for them so you would need the acccord add on or build your own board.
