Power Control Unit Recall???? Wayne?

I just recieved a message on my machine... it was ACURA calling about a recall for my car. They told me to call them back and I did but everyone left for the day. All they said was a recall for power control unit.... whats that? Im sure its not a big deal because she said i can bring the car in anytime when i get maintains done. Any ideas Wayne or jens?

You sure its not the power windo control module for the drivers side window?

thats what i was thinking. I bought my car in May.. so i dont remember if they fixed it before they gave me the car... i remember them stopping production to fix the window recall... remember? Oh well I will find out by monday.

They are talking about the power window module in the driver's door.They are being replaced on some models as it seems there are a few gremlins in some of them allowing the windows to go nuts.It is not a big deal the door panel needs to come off and the little black box is exchanged for a non gremlin containing unit.Call your dealer have your VIN number handy and ask for a date to get it taken care of.
