powdercoating intake manifold

hey, i was wondering if anyone has powdercoated their intake manifold? i was thinking about doing mine black but wasnt sure how it would look and then with a black intake. this is on a black 99tl too.

ive seen them done, doesnt look bad at all. i painted mine with some caliper paint and clear coated it, i put my tools on it and other stuff and no scratches or chip's

haha...damn dude u paint everything u can think of......but u do a damn good job of keeping it suttle and clean...

thx, my engine bay looked stock and like everyone's else's so i did something that most havent.

ok, i think i might do it, i can sandblast it and powdercoat it at my school for free, did you just tape the ports on the bottom and side off when you painted it?

i painted the top part of the intake manifold, square like plate, u have a 99 so its different, still have to do the intake manifold, but yea u should take off the ports and any other holes, like vacuum lines and such.
