hey guys, anyone have any recommendations on a decent portable battery jump starter? i was caught with a dead batter a while ago and this guy gave me a jump with one and i thought it was a great tool to carry around in case of an emergency.

i don't know anything about them, good brands, what to avoid, etc. any help would be appreciated!!

thanks, i'll stop by this weekend. i plan on going to all the car shops, but is there a certain type i should look for or a trusted brand? anything i should avoid?

 

I thought the portable ones had to be recharged every now and then, i.e., you can't just drop them in the trunk and forget about them until you need them.
