Im my way home fter a very pleasant 2hour hour talk over an icream with one of my fellow swim team members (girl), im going 5 UNDER the speed limit as i was very happy untill i was tempted by a CayeneS who kept accelerating next to me. finally we get to a red light (3lane road and the next light was a good 2miles away) where He/she (porshe) had nobody infront and i had some honda accord in front. So i change 2lanes over next to the cayene. The redlight lasted like 5minutes, SS (left A/C, radio and TCS on) finally its green and he starts ahead...he's infront untill we get to 40mph by which time i was even and picking up speed WAY FASTER...by the time were at 80 im a full 2cars ahead, by the time we reach 100 he breaks madly because i was almost 3-4cars away and pulling away!!

and so the road comes unto a 2lane road and the next light caches us but he takes a 90* left turn down lyons road. I'm feeling pumped, i take off calmly and get to my cruising speed (50mph) faster than average. Three lights away (2lights away from my turn home) i land next to a Maxima with atleast 19"chromes and a sweet sounding exhaust(its all i could see/hear...so far) Aheah, like 150yards away, the 2lane sorta slits (turn only kinda slip) so i SS again, just in case because im already pumped, i start slowly to see what he's gonna do, but off the line he chirps his tire = me sinking first, he was by my passenger door all the time, and so he slowed down to get behind me...

50yard away is the last light to my house...if i go straight i get to my house in 2minutes...there a car waiting at the light so i get behind him and the maxima is going to make a left turn down a 1lane road...guess what...I PULLED BEHIND HIM...10seconds later the light is green, the now MAXIMA SE (the new generation) makes a brutal turn, and i follow, now im behind him by like 2car lenghs, i get onto my VTEC, CAI GROWLS and by the time i shift to third i can read again "MAXIMA SE", i notice no lights down the other side so i pass him...OMG duds, it was like passing a parked vehicle at 50mph!! i blink the emergency lights twice, break fast, (he passes me), i blink my highbeams and take a right turn, and back home...

My thoughts right now are that the porshe is a soccer mom suv and that the maxima is too much of a family car. I'm gonna lookup the stats on the Maxima, i know the cayene S coulda tied my TL back when it was stock.

YEAH BABY, im still pumped and the night is still young so i'm going to my best friend's house...2houses down. WHAT A GREAT NIGHT...GOOD NIGHT!!

not to sure but im not sure the porshe was racin ya. the Cayene is like 450 hp. i dunno how you could have got 1-2 cars ahead

if you read carefully, he says cayene s. Not the cayene turbo, which you mention with the 450 horses.

The Cayenne Turbo is 450hp, the Cayenne "S" is much less (340hp).

its 12:06 and im still pumped!!

i can see the dud in the maxima crying as we speak...he did have some pretty sick rims and a great exhaust sound, +2 respect for him...but getting passed at over 20-30mph more than his speed, -4respect points.

As for the Cayene S...seriously, when you mess with someone, pull next to him and try to make him race you...you better be sure as hell your gonna kik some ***...he'll never tempt another TL in his breathing days!

did you mean maxima or altima?

and did you mean 2.5 or 3.5?

maxima's only come in 3.5 se and 3.5 sl and have 265 hp.

The altima's come in 2.5s and 3.5se and 3.5sl, with the 2.5 having only 170 hp, and the 3.5 having 250hp.

If you raced a 2.5 altima, I would hope you would win.

If it was a 3.5 maxima, then congratulations!

i raced the 3.5 max. about 3 days ago. i thought he would keep up but after i reached 30 i just started to pull away, and he then didnt even bother and stayed behind me. lolz.

you're probably on a TL-S...im on a '99...the slowest of all TLs. Even with all my mods, i'm comfident to take on a typeS in a close race. If you put half my mods into a TL-S, you'll be up in the G35/350Z/SRT-4/WRXi time ranges!

i've had my doubts on wether that maxima was going all out with me when i passed him because it seemed like too easy of a beating, i'd like to meet with him again

I'll try to be real here. I really don't know the stats on the cayenne s but I am pretty sure it can give a 99TL a run for the money. Mind you, I have a 99 TL also but haven't ran one yet.

Now the maxima is another story. If it was a new one with like 265/255 than I am pretty sure he wasn't going all out or doesn't know how to drive if it was a stick. Even with an auto, I think they run low to mid 6s (@ type-s times) stock.

But since it is a street race where anything can happen, good kill!

I say the maxi was going all out, i had a 4 Door Ram with a hemi, and i raced a 3.5 altima. . off the line i raped him, rolling at 15 raped him, and rolling at 35 got him again. I have an 03 Tls now and i ripped the hemi's a new ass everytime.. so i have a good feeling he was on it no matter what anyone says the rims do hurt u a bit, the maxi was probably pushing 20's !!!

After our HWY 7 run at the TO meet. I am confident in my car even without the mods…just wait till we remove the resonator and add some goodies like headers and some mufflers. Should be cool to prowl around like a shark picking its prey.

But no speeding though. Just make them so scared with the exhaust note that they’ll give up without even starting.


And those Porsches SUV’s are a joke. Well the non-turbo that is. That’s if you ever see them on the roads anymore. Yeh, there so heavy that’s easy to smack them.

The owners might have had enough of the fuel mileage on those souped up VW SUV's.
