Post Poor handling

Any of you guys get a little nervous when you have to make sudden or emergency avoidance maneveurs? I tried some braking and swerving moves and the TL just about wet its pants, WTF?

The TL stock tires suck big time. What you need is a new set of stickier tires, sway bars, and lowering your car. I lowered my car with new tires and I take corners like nothing. But if you don't have that much money, just invest them in new tires. You will feel the difference.

Yep... The tires will make a big difference. But you will get more noise with high performance tire thought.

Lowering the car and sway bar will help for sure. I remember that I almost curb my car right after I left my gf's house. It was a low speed corner and I think I was going a bit too fast, something like 50km and my car understeer and slide to the side.

Damn... understeer sucks.... Especially with FWD, there ain't much you can do but lift the gas, and pray...

Wait a minute. Dont we already have stock sway bars on. Does putting a aftermarket swaybar enhance the handling a lot. Also could you put the aftermarket swaybar on leave the stock swaybar on also so that you have two swaybars?

Yes, the upgraded sway bars enhance the handling A LOT. With Comptech springs & sways, the car stick the road and the corners feel A LOT better. It's like night and day.

Oh, one set of sways at a time, stock or upgraded, but not both.

You've got to power thru or at least maintain during understeer. Don't lift the gas.
