Poll, Previous car to owning TL, and the other models considered
Myself, I owned a 97 M3 which was a wonderful car to own. I guess I'm one of the few that only had regular maientence done. Only regular tuneups, oil changes, brakes once, and 2 electrial sensors which cost less than 200 to fix on my own. Of course that doesn't include mods. Also have a 99 4-Runner now which is awesome.
Before I bought my 2000 TL, I was looking at the 04/05 TL, MDX, 02 M3, and G35 Coupe. I guess in the end it came down to not wanting to have a payment, so I can save up to TRY and buy my own place. I have a great car with no problems to worry about minus the tranny! Hopefully I'll able to save up some more money before buying a condo, and trade in the 4-runner for a MDX on a good deal.
I guess this is my hello to the boards as well, I'll try to ask as few questions as posibble, but this board seems as helpful as bimmerforums. I know the power of the search button, and thanks for the help so far.

'98 Corvette Convertible. Had to sell because it was getting me into too much trouble. Looked at G35's a few others. Decided to buy the 2000 TL and mod it with the leftover $$.

I guess it is a dead subject then. Just wanted to introduce myself more than anything. I'll just let the thread die unless people decide to participate. Thanks for the links BTW.

Funny I was really looking for an Volvo S40, S70 or Lexus ES300. I saw a good deal in the ad and went to the dealer ready to purchase the car. It turned out the Volvo was sold minutes before I came. Saw this 99TL SSM w/Navi in the lot and felt in love with it. Did a few research first and decided to buy after a couple of weeks. I also have a 91 Accord (my everyday commute) and an 03 Odyssey.
