Okay i fanally got a chance to fix the heated seat prob. i followed all the directions and now my srs light is on and i also have no controls over the driver seat its, completely dead. Also i checked and rechecked all the plugs and they are all in the right places i checked to see if they were getting power and there was no prob there either so now im stuck and dont know what to do. i guess the car will have to go to acura unless somebody can save the day.

no problem- you unplugged the seat connector stuff- including the airbag power with the battery connected- right?
its just fooled the system

easy fix- check the diy again for the link or search for SRS reset

If I had it handy I would have given- sorry

Check fuses, double check that you have ALL the connections plugged in.

I know exactly what's the problem. I did mine last week and after replugging everything, i had no power in my seat. On the side of your seat, under the plastic cover, there is two out of the 3 connectors that are square. You plug it color match but as stupid as it may seems, you must plug the connector in the opposite color socket?

I don't know if you see what I mean but this is 99% sure your problem!

one wiring harness for many countries,,and which side of the car is the driver seat etc
Not everything makes sense when you look at the wire harness~

This is a good reminder for anyone working on electrical in the car-
A: Disconnect the battery NEG cable
B: MARK each side of a connector with tape-write a code number/letter on tape so it goes back together fast and right the first time
C: When things dont work- suspect the last thing done to the car~

If no power check your fuses.

The first thing I always check is the fuse panel. If your solder work caused a short it would pop a fuse and you would have an issue. It could also cause the car to not recognize the side air bag.
