Please help. Questions on Shocks

I need to replace my stock shocks. I currently have comptech springs with stock shocks on my 2000 TL.

I was considering purchasing the Tokico Premiums but was told that those are built for Accords & NOT for the TL. I was told that the Koni's are my only choice.

If possible, I would rather save a little money by going w/the Tokico Premium. But, of course, I would rather be safe than sorry.

Please share your input. Thanks.

Check on the suspension link above on this page or in my signature. Tim has the tokico's that work on the TL.

Both Koni's and Tokico's are disign for the accord.

any shock for the accord should work on the TL.

I heard that Tokico's are not very good.

I hear Koni Yellows are very good. I can't tell you from direct experience. I just hope you can be an informed buyer and be happy with your purchases.

Research and good luck!

From direct experince neither one is good. I personally like the KYB AGX's. They don't make them for our cars. I also like H&R, Teins, Zeals, Blistein.

i have the tokico, the ones you can purchase here from this site, and i have to say they are really good. i don't know where you might have heard that they weren't but i had have them for about 6 months and i have no trouble with them. They do have one for the TL's but you may have known that from other members.

Tokicos are great. Ive had 3 sets on my past 3 cars, all the blue non-adjustables. Never had a problem with uneven stance, bounciness, squeaking, or anything of the sort.
