Please Help! Dimmer Problems

Today I noticed that my cars tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, and AC control lights dont come on - its as if the dimmer was set all the way off. If i press one of the AC buttons, the light for the button does come on. Its the LED lights that are all out. However, the other lights, (odometer, stereo light, notification lights) come on.

I checked all the fuses, none are blown out.

Unhooked the dimmer, and hooked back in, snapped in fine..nothign loose there.

Unhooked the battery and rehooked, same problem.

I know it cant be the light bulbs that are oout..becase how would the tach, speedometer, fuel, and ac control bulbs go out at same time?

I NEED HELP!

I had a similar problem w/ my car a few days ago... Half my tach went out along with my a/c and heat controls and my cruise control light. And soon after my car started hesitating on cold mornings. So I went to Sears and got a Optima Yellow Top and all my lights are back and I haven't had any trouble since. The only reason I went with the Yellow Top was b/c I'm about to do a system in my car and I figured i would need it later on any way. You should go and have ur battery checked.

i dont know...i took out the instrument cluster..seems like 3 of the bulbs are blackened (maybe blown?) ... but why would these blown bulbs affect the LED display of the navi and temp control?

bulbs arent blown..checked em by plugging them into the indicator socket, which takes the same bulbs...works fine...i guess its a battery problem.

question - why would the battery problem only affect the LED lights?, yet the other lights are fine?

Sears charges $12 for the diagnostic test and if u get a battery, they use that as the install fee.
