Hello all I tried searching but could not find anything regarding my issue. Well I am getting ready to install a aftermarket Pioneer headunit into my Acura 2002 TL-S and I got the schoche wiring kit and there is one wire on the wiring harness that is blue that says it is for the power antenna. But there is no spot on the pioneer wiring harness for this wire. From what I can tell the pioneer needs a adaptor like this one http://www.cardomain.com/item/SCOCRAB to connect the antenna but I could not find one for my model of car. So how do I use my factory antenna with my aftermarket headunit. Oh and if it maters my car does not have the NAVI system. Thanks for any help.

 

there isnt a wire for the antenna on a headunit. the antena wire plugs into the back of the headunit seperate from the speaker wire harness

 

Will the antenna on my TL plug right into my pioneer head unit? If not where can I get an adaptor for the antenna?

 

it should plug right in to the back of the headunit. (it did on my kenwood) if not they make an adapter and you can get them at radio shack, best buy, circut city ect... but it should plug right in
