Post Please HELP!

I went to the dealer to get my spoiler checked out. It turns out that someone tried to rip it off from the right side causing it to crack. The dealer won't warranty it. I want the WW spoiler, but I have 2 holes drilled from my factory spoiler. Has anyone converted from Factory to WW, and if so, does it fit perfectly? Please help as I have to order the WW from TIM painted and can't return it.

Shoot... that's messed up. I hate it when someone tries to steal something off of the car and end up messing the car up. That pisses me off big time. If you are going to steal, do it cleanly. (Not that it's okay to steal if done cleanly.)

I guess you decided to keep your TL afterall. *lol*

Yes it's true. Someone tried to jack my rims. All my caps were loose. My caps have 6 hex screws and you have to unscrew the 2 right ones or the cap won't come off. I guess the thief got tired of trying to figure out which one it was and left my cap on.

I still need help!

AC, the wingswest site has 3 types: http://www.wingswest.com/index2.html

99-2000 TL "TL FACTORY STYLE 2-LEG /15.5"/35 RED LIGHT"
99-2000 TL "TL CUSTOM 2-LEG W/15" LED LIGHT"
99-2000 TL CUSTOM FLUSH MOUNT

I assume you want the flush mount?
You can measure how far apart the holes are from left side of the car to the right (if there are two holes on each side measure the distance between those as well). I'd call WW's Tech Line (949) 722-9995 and ask for the exact measurements for the spoiler you want.

I have flush mount from WW and I also have holes drilled into the spoiler. I believe you can probably match the holes from your trunk to the WW spoiler (it should be even). Since ww has a base frame all around, I don't think you will have problem trying to fit the spoiler...

Good luck

Cool

This is what Streeteffectz told me:

"It comes with double side 3M tape on it.
Just stick it on. I have mine on that way. THere are holes for screws, but they dont line up perfect with the factory spoiler holes. If you don't have a factory spoiler, that's even better cuz there are no holes
in your rear deck to begin with and if you ever wanted to take the WW spoiler off, you won't have holes in it!"
