I went over to Plaza Automall in Brooklyn to find about Comptech stuff, whether or not I can order it through them and if they can install it. They know nothing about it and say anything you put on your car will terminate the warranty.....

Is this will all the dealerships or just this one? I originally bought my TL-S in Brunswick Acura.

 

Different dealerships have different opinions about mods. If you go to Park Avenue Acura in NJ ( www.parkaveacura.com ) they sell and install Comptech parts for pretty good prices.

As for the warranty, the law states that adding an aftermarket accessory can only void the warranty if the dealer can prove, without a doubt, that the aftermarket part actually caused the failure you're having. Most dealers won't do that b/c it's a pain and it's also bad PR. Although some may... it varies by location....

 

Park Avenue Acura seems to be the best service (and other) dealership in the Tri-State area.
