Played with Blower wire saw a spark

I was playing with the wires for the blower for the simple reason is that when I moved the wire connector a certain way the blower would work. But at some point as I was moving the wire connector to get it to work I saw a small spark. I checked the fuses and they seem to be fine, but the blower is not working. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Replace the connector, it's fried.

The connector doesn't seem to want to detach. Must be melted and I'll probably have to replace the whole unit from what I read here.

Thank you
Gianni

The blower comes out pretty easily. Try snipping the wires and removing the blower with the connector attached. Once it's on the bench you can go from there to see if it's salvageable.

If it's melted, you might not have to replace the whole thing - I just soldered some similar-gauge wires into the pins where the connector used to be, and heat shrunk my joints together to keep em neat. Looks melted to heck, but blows like heaven!
