It really doesnt seem as if somebody was trying to break in, otherwise they would've went thru the windows.

i can pretty much guarantee nobody was trying to break into your car.. i honestly have no clue what would have caused that, but it seems like it was some kinda side swipe action.. really weird though man..

Ouchies..even got the rear door. It wouldn't have been so bad if it had just been the front door but rear was overkill. What a dickwad.
On another note, SSM FTW!!

It takes alot of force to do that to the back door.

Could of been something stickin out of like a work truck or something along those lines.

that blows that it also got the back door

but anyways that pattern is proably from the door itself vibrating in and out, or what ever scraped it vibrating, or jerking back and forth
and inorder for that to vibrate like that, it would mean that they had to be moving at a decent speed and not just some crawl

but as said before, it almost seems like a plow maybe

also pm'd

also about the pin striping, it makes me , and they still need to paint the whole door, so i don't see why they would need a "paint line" cover (aka pin striping) on there

haha yeah pin striping was just a joke... u think they'd be able to fix it okay or would just have to replace the door? cuz yeah its alot of little dents it seems almost impossible to get perfect again... but yeah i dont see a plow truck being n e where considering there hasn't been snow down here for a while now

just an fyi, for insurance to fix it, they will proably "reskin" the front door, since nothing is wrong with it structially, and the the rear door they will proably fix, and just bang it out or so, but they might reskin also, since nothing seems to be structial with that ethier (but if they replace ethier door, i would say the back one would be the one to be replaced)

also make sure they ethier used a CAPA certified part, or an an OEM honda part, they fit the best, and need very little work to fit correctly, if neither are available, i would rather see some used OEM doors on there then a "shitty" new part

reskin as in just simply paint over it?... yeah im making sure they use OEM honda parts for sure... u think i'd be able to say they keyed my car on the other side and fix that too? lol

To re-skin is when they put a new shell on the door...The part that you see, not anything structurally.

to get an idea of what they would proably be doing

a new door would be best, but probably not going to happen as said, nothing is stuctially wrong with the doors, and that reskining a door is a perfectly acceptable way of fixing damage like that, much better then some bondo slapped on there, and calling it good

only issue is they then may then refuse repairing it and just total it sadly (if close enough), but yes technically it should be the same quality of part though as OEM, anyways you have to look into your contract and state laws to be more exact though

Possibly a pneumatic auto-chisel. basically a miniature jack hammer? it would cause that interval patter and the puncture/scuffs.

But either way i'd have to go to jail if i found someone doing this to my TL.
