Pillowball Mounts?

I just have a question about pillowball mounts on coilover systems like the Tein's. I wanted to know what the advantages of have these mounts. I've read that it's better for the camber of the car, but how? Can the camber be adjusted with these mounts? Sorry for the stupid questions, but I can't seem to find a clear answer.

The rubber bushing is replaced with a pillow ball (spherical bearing) which eliminates the load input compliance, reduces the change of alignment to improve the grip of the tire.

What fsttyms1 is trying to say is this: pillowball mounts provides better tire traction, when compared to stock bushings (did I get that right?).

However, this does not remove the need of a camber kit. Even a modest drop with a coilover system, a camber kit is required to fix camber issues (like any other drop with H&R or Comptech springs).

pillowball mounts are for suspension. the one shown is a camber plate. they are for adjusting camber by moving the top of the shock instead of adjusting a nut and bolt in a hard to reach place.the main use is for the serious racer, or enthusiast. they are the best at resisting deflection (keeping the suspension from changing specs under load) then there are a type of bearing mounts most used in racing typically there are rubber mounts, most people upgrade to urathane busshings, and then there are pivot ball joints very similar to pivot ball idea. the down side to all of these is they transmit more noise and vibration (no rubber to isolate) into the car

fsttyms1 - Some Tein coilover applications have the same camber plate as the HKS plates you posted, so if the coilover system had the camber plates like the ones posted on the left hand side of the pic, can the camber be adjusted from that plate?

So if you get the camber plate, you would not need a camber kit correct?
