A-pillar removal.

I'm trying to run wires for my hardwired radar detector. No idea on how to remove the A-pillar, looking for alternatives or instruction on removal. I just didn't want to start yanking.

thats pretty much what you do... grab it from the headliner and yank.... just held in by clips....

It is held together with a bunch clips so all you can do is just yank it off. The only tip I can give you is start from the top. And when you're putting it back, be careful not to pinch any wires.

Whew!! And I thought he was gonna make his car a true Jeep-like convertable!

Very glad I found this thread. I'm picking up my Type-S this Thursday and plan on driving DIRECTLY to Valentine Research all of 4.6 miles away and picking up a Valentine 1 (I called them and they'll let me do that since I'm not far). It's gettin' installed as soon as I get it the car home!

Make sure you pick up the concealed display as well. I mounted mine on top of the steering column and it looked really nice. Everyone that saw it complemented on it.
