where did you mount your ballastsfor your fogs? Is there protection from water?

 

well, I place the ballast behind the fog house. there is a flat metal sheet behind the light house, so I placed the ballast on to that metal. regarding on waterproof, so far so good. I have nothing to cover the ballast. I thought the ballast itself was waterproof. anycase we had some rainny day here at chicago and so far no problem.

 

DAMN, looks real good, now it will be easy to point you out on the roads...

 

Wow I really appreciate the time you took in making the pics. I fully understand now. As for the red and black wires in the "how to convert pic1" picture, do you insert those wires into the holes and leave them dangling? I was always under the impression that the male connectors has the same housing as the original 9006 bulb.

hey did you convert the navi to video yet?

 

actually I used the electical tape to tape around the connector. hehe... so far so good...

 

looks great!....so you used the original fog light housing for the new HID's, right? And are those D2S or D2R bulbs?

I actually have the decorder on order... i hope they come through and send it to me. Then i will try to do it. Doesnt look hard to install.

 

yeap, for HID fog it is D2S. you could still use the D2R bulb. I sent the picture of fog light housing to Autolamps-online.com and they said that I should buy D2S bulb instead of D2R. so I went with it and it looks great!

I'm almost close to buying the body kit. I should install it before spring come. I gotta have a good excuse to buy the body kit since I'm married and I need to explain what I'm buying to my wife. darn it. I wish she can understand about the car! you know what I mean? hahaha...

Hey Crzy acura, did you ever get pull over by cop since you have tinted the front side windows? I'm also thinking of tinting the windows. hehe... more money for sure. or should I order intake... one at a time i gues...

 

you might have already posted this, but how much was it to do the HID fog conversion? And how long did it take? Was it hard to do? Thanks.

I used to have 20% on my old car, and i got pulled over a good amount. Now that i have 35%, no one has pulled me over. They dont even look.

Stop with the mods... i dont want a car looking like mine on the road!! :p
