car had 70k i think the engine was fine but the transmission was destroyed and the frame bent pretty bad. So much for the new brakes and tires that the dealer put on last monday

Was the accident your fault? Sometimes insurance guys will reimburse you for repairs that were recent. (State farm did for us a few years back when someone slammed into our 87 Voyager and totalled it.--Ditto for a friends' heater core in a Taurus that was totalled by someone else.) I think the keys here was that the accident was caused by someone else.

I was driving to blockbuster and a car from a side street turned onto the main road that i was on in front of me. The person turned into the far lane not the lane they should have but i guess i was speeding so it will probably be no fault

also is anyone interested in 1 bulb + ballast i the left side one is beat up but the right side one is perfectly fine and i think i am going to sell it.

99StockTL, Be sure to show your insurance carrier the reciept for the new tires and brakes. They probably wont pay for the brakes, but they will reimburse you for the tires, although not at a dollar for dollar matchup.

When my last car was totalled (some idiot left a moving truck at the top of a hill, without chocking the brakes, and the truck rolled down the hill and crushed my car) Allstate paid me $400 for about $1100 worth of parts i had just put into the car. two of the items they paid for was the steering rack (the counted it as suspension parts) and tires.

My friend has the HID kit in her toyota......no idea what kit but it just seems too bright to me, like she's driving with highbeams on all the time. I also think that she no longer has highbeams.
