Pics of Tips - Stock/3.5"(3A)/4"(3A)
The stock tips were starting to corrode. I went to the auto store and all they had were the 4" 3A slants. I put them on and they were too big for my liking. I went to a different store and found the 3.5" 3A slants.
I like the 3.5's better. Thought I'd post the pics because I would have liked to have seen the tips on a car before making the purchase.
This is stock tips.

Got them at Pep Boys for abou $26 each. Installation took about 10 minutes. Old bolts were rusted and stripped, so I had a mechanic cut them off because I didn't have the right tools.

how long does the inlet have to be in order for the exhaust tip to be plush with the back bumper. If not plush, slightly sticking out, like a couple cm's or so.
I always see the 3.5 inch tips, but I'm always clueless as too how long I should buy. I saw a couple with 4 inch inlet's and 5.25 inch inlets.

I agree the 4" didn't look that bad, but the 3.5" seemed a little more understated which is what I wanted.
The tips I got were 9" long, I would guess 8-8.5" would be flush.

For those of you buying the 3A tips, just be aware that the length on them is 9 inches. They will always stick out.....unless you have a kit (which was why I returned mine).

With the factory kit or the WW kit it looks perfect. The only length for the 3A Racing tips is 9 inches. They don't make 'em any shorter (unfortunately)
