Advice on the sidemarkers, don't make them too low....if you remember what I showed you Neil at that meet....that gap between one end of the sidemarker to another due to curveture of the fender.

Make the hole right below the angle line on the body. Take a pin to make sure that it sits completely flat. Also if you do it yourself, use touch up over the exposed metal from drill/dremel, to avoid possible rust problems in the future.

yeah i remembered that, and was carefull about it.
the markers are 1 9/16" down from the fender line and 15/16ths of an inch from the gap between the fender and the door.
The cuts were very precise, so i have no showing flaws, and i cant believe i got them perfectly stright.
the left one is 1/8th of an inch off from the left fender, so its almost perfect
I used a heavy duty liquid electrical tape to cover the exposed bare steel on the edges, and to ensure that the lame-ass gasket on the markers does the job, i will be beading them will silicone. if i need to change the bulb, all id have to do is remove the fender well trim.
good stuff.

no change in sound from the tips, but i removed both exhaust resonators and the intake resonator was already gone long ago so she sounds good now
i got the side markers for $17 a piece, and the harness for $7 for both.
i have a wholesale account set up with my local BMW dealership
Dont let these guys rape you. i paid $7 for both harnesses, at the BMW dealer i like over here, and the other dealer wanted $30 so dont let them phuck you!!!
Reeves BMW in Tampa retails these side markers at $22 a piece.

awesome bro, it seems like u have thousands of dollars every week to spend on ur car . Keep up the good work.
also were the sidemarkers hard to put in? i'm thinking about getting the jdm inspire ones from the value car audio website but i don't think i'll be able to install them. i really don't wanna cut holes in my car myself so do u know of anywhere that may install them?

well they sure as hell were not easy... it just requires the right tools, patience, and precision. i didnt want to pay someone to do it for me so i gave it a shot myself. i figure, worst case scenario, i tottaly fuk it up and need a new fender. which would suck, but thats the worst case scenario so i was ok with the risk.
LOL i dont have thousands, my car has been a very slow process up till now. i just landed a big network job thats going to leave me with a few thousand extra to blow, so thats what im doing i want to get my car up to type-s speed then im happy, and i want my WW kit, then im done (yea right).
Try a body shop, they are really the only ones that will be skilled enough to do it and probably cheap enough.
