thanks guys for the kind words.
i think that id have to switch them and plus the wheel dat is crooked the rubber is peeled off. i donno about how insurance work and all but i doubt insuracne will allow me to do dat ifthe car were to be totaled.
engine i moved becaues of the accident so i'm guessing its gonna be totaled....i think i wouldn't want it back. mite run into problems with it later on down the road and hard to sell afterwards when i'm fed up w/ the problems
In a lot of ways your car is worse than mine was because you have damage to the firewall and your airbags deployed, however my damage wasn't limited to one side of the car. My guess is that they'll total it based upon my situation. From my vantage point it looks like you have damage to the firewall above the steering column, I'm not sure it's cost effective to replace that portion of the vehicle since it would require everything in front of your b-pilar to be remove from the car. Depending on your carrier I'd guess that you'll need to get to about $14500 in damages to get to 70% of value (that is if you have the newest model possible -- '01 -- and have low miles -- 24k). Good luck

thanks 4 the estimate
Same thing happennded to me
My car looks almost the same. I skidded on the snow and flew off the road trying to avoid an accident. Hit the telephone pole. There was no engine damage, the car was not totaled. 11K worth of damage on initial estimate.
Thank God you are OK. Airbags help a lot.
