First off, gauges are being made for the 2000-2001 Acura TLs. Go here for ordering and more information.

Since our gauges are not made yet, HID Vision cannot send me a test gauge to evaluate. So they have sent me gauges of the same style that fit a 96-97 Honda Accord.

I like these gauges!!! The silver face with the blue and red looks great! After seeing it in person, I wouldn't want blue and green. The blue and red looks great and will match our stock red gauge needles. I also like the titanium silver face better than a plain white one.

Damn, those gauges are soooo tite. Can't wait to get them. People driving next to me will trip out once they see them. I already ordered, but I'm thinking of buying several more just to sell to owners that missed this rare opportunity. I figure I can easily sell them for $150 or more.

So for peeps that are still undecided, get them while you can. 80 bucks is freakin cheap! You may never get this opportunity again.

I was thinking about it this morning while stuck in traffic. I was staring at the gauges and tried to imagine what silver would would look like. I think it would be pretty cool.

The only things right now that is holding me back from ordering them are:

1. The light from stock is green. Will there be any green when these are put in?

2. We have fuel, check engine, cruise control, etc... indicator lights. Right now they are hidden pretty well by the black gauges and only show when lit.
Will these gauges hide them that way? Or will they have a cutout for them or will they actually have the picture of the indicator on them like the CLS and TLS do?

3. The center circle that actually holds the needle is black on stock. Wouldn't that look funny contrasting with the silver?

4. These are overlays on the stock ones right?

It just that seeing how many people expressed their interest in the beginning backed out now, makes me wonder about future group buys from Japan. I can't believe how long this is actually taking, sigh, sorry for the venting, as i really want to get it before the June 9th Park Ave meet! C'mon people, what is $80 compare to all those mods in your signatures? Chi Ching $$$ thats it! lol

yeah, If they are overlays, the stock green light/gauges will still be there. When these are lit, where does it get its light from? In the pic, it almost looks like it is from another electrical source.

Not sure if there are going to be little cutouts or if it will shine through the face. Either way the indicator lights are going to be functional for sure.

I think cutouts would look kinda gay. I hope it is that they shine through, that would be cleaner. Does HID Vision know all of the indicators that we have?

one more Q,

how flexible are the gauges? Are they are hard plastic or are they more like a thick sticker? I haven't ever seen replacement gauges before.
