Wink Picking up my baby today!!!

it's about time!! scheduled to get my ride today at 4'clock. i got the SS W/Nav, and got the manager to throw in the wood meter trim, wheel locks, the window etching, and a trunk mat. before taxes...etc. it was 33,000. now i already have the wood dash kit ready to be installed from www.autocarparts.com (thanks guys) and have the factory front lip, WW side skirts, and WW rear valence arriving in about 2 weeks. oh, getting my windows tinted today too (50% mirror tint) i think if i'd go with 35% or lower, it'll be too dark. anyway, i CAN'T WAIT!!! thanks to all you guys that helped out.

yep, yep, drove my baby today to work. and let me tell you guys, it was torture!!! i had old ladys passing me in the middle lane man. had to keep her no more than 60mph...and cannot rev her more than 3000rpm. sigh*...but i was lovin' every minute of my drive to work. (never thought i would say that) ONE problem though, i decided to take out the DVD Rom CD in the trunk, because the Nav would sometimes say "disc not formatted" (WTF!!) so guess what was on the CD?? a nice couple of scratches on that bad boy. i was pretty pissed, but i'm going to go back to dealership to get another one
but, thanks for everything guys, and i'm definitely going to post some pics of my ride in a couple of weeks, when i get me kit and other mods installed

Somehow, I just don't seem to think you'll be letting "old ladies" pass you for long (unles they're in a Type S)! Try to keep it down for the first 600 miles for break-in!!! Very best of luck to you!!!

oh....one more thing, i went to the tint shop to get the "mirror tint", and the guy wanted $250-$275 for the job, and it was going to take 4 hours!! so i'm leaning toward the regular black tint....another reason is that you all said the "mirror tint" affects the navigation, plus the black tint job is only going to be $150.

Avirex34,

Good Job! Welcome to the TL-S side of the street. It won't be long 'till you can no longer resist and you take those old ladies out!

The hardest part of getting a TL-S is holding back and letting it breal in.

Once you have done that, LOOK OUT!....

...for cops!

well, i finally went with AoB, got a pretty decent deal there. but one problemo....the wood meter trim that i got thrown in with the deal....it's a little crooked, i.e. the holes for the signals aren't aligned right. should i go back and tell them to put another one on?? thanks

oh, and the park avenue meet...hell yea i'll be there. Mr. Hyde, keep me updated...by then i'll have my kit on.
