Picked up my TLS today!!
Finally picked up my TLS today!!! All I can say is WOW!! Put 75 KM on the car today!!! And the car is pulling strong already. Have the rear splash guards put on, which looks ALOT better than I thought.
It's too bad that Nav is not offered in Canada..
Any reason why Acura doesn't offer Nav in Canada???

GPS is in use in Canada alright, though only major cities(Vancouver, Toronto, Quebec...etc), BMW, Mercedes, Lexus offers GPS on their cars in Canada. The loaner ML320 I usually get has it, and it works great!!! But why Acura is not offering Nav in Canada is beyond me....
Really would love to have it...

Hi Andy. I contacted Acura regarding this issue and was told that only Vancouver and Toronto are mapped for this use and it didn't warrant making it an option for these two areas. By the way, GPS is used all over the world, even the Soviet and Chinese military use it.
With Mercedes, it only works in Vancouver, if you go to Horseshoe Bay or Langley it quits working, I've tried it in a friends car. What makes me angry is my wife being an American (aren't we all Americans?) we spend a few months of the years travelling in the U.S. visiting friends etc and I would like to have a nav system for those times. Audi also offer it in Canada. When I spoke with Acura they told me they're working on it.
We also don't get the four channel ABS, or the seat belt pre-tensioners they get in the U.S. but we get 7" wheels and a low windshield washer warning light.

That's cool!! We should have a local TL/TLS owner gathering sometimes this summer....and maybe I can get some of my MB buddies to join us... Hope you guys like E55 AMG..
