i would like a picture of a 99-01 headlight kinda like head on, with a ruler next to them, cause i think the 02-03 might actually have the same reflector :pounder:, and it is just the front bezal that makes up the rest of the headlight's size
so same "internals"

 

hey dude, i have a pic of one of my headlights that i took a few months back but i have no ruler in the pic though lol

it looks like the same headlight configuration like the 02-03 but has that shield in front of it. i don't know what's the purpose of it because i thought it had a cap on it like the 02-03 has to cover the bulb (?)

i know they are completely different externially, but i think they may actually be exactly the same for the reflectors and such for the head light bulbs (the part people DO NOT black out when they do that; so the part that actually reflects the light foward), so the same internally/actual workings

 

anyways i found a page for some retrofits that do some 99-01 headlights, and i was woundering how much of it i could carry over for doing some 02-03 ones

 

why is there a cover for the 99-01 for low beams?

you mean that little chrome thing in the center??? we got that too, and most low beam reflector based headlights also have it too

it is so the low beam cannot shine/glare into oncoming driver's eyes directly, and has to be reflected first

 

not really ass but ty also, kinda need real close ups (part of the reason for a ruler also)

 

anyways ty all, but i found a picture of what i needed though, just without a ruler though (so maybe if some could still get a quick measurement so i have something to base it off of, that would help too


3rd parts down, now just gotta compare it to the spare headlight (that i can pratice on/hack at) i am getting in a couple of days (currently got depo ones , shitty hotspots, so hard to compare to)
