Phillips Ultinon or a whole new HID set

Have a question I have a friend that works at a car stereo shop. I can end up gettin a whole phillips 8000K blue kit for about 450, a 2k 6000k in either blue or purple for about 380 or a Hanabi 6000k blue or purple for 350. Wondering if I should go any of these routes considering the Phllips Ultinon bulbs by themselves go for 290. Any thoughts on this anyone?

Get the whole kit and sell the ballasts. They might worth some money.

Philips 8000K kit = I bet these kits have Phillips Ballasts only and "Made in Who Knows" bulbs.

6000K bulbs in blue or purple = ???? 6000K is 6000K...

Hanabi = Again, I will say. No no no.

What are you planning on doing? replacing the lowbeams? Just get the Phillips 6000K "Cool Xenon" bulbs for less then $300 and your good. Direct swap with the stock 4100k D2R's. No need to get another ballast.

Like I said again, you get what you pay for.

hey 2Lo, where in NY are you from? i myself is looking for a set of HID's, and trying to find a good deal on them. i'd probably go with the whole set cuz it's cheaper and you can get rid of the ballasts if you don't need them. i'm interested in the 2K 6000K blue if you can give me more info on them i'd appreciate it.
