The absolulte biggest waste of money out there next to Zmax.... Those things do not work for ****. Not only does the "jamming" not work, but the built in Radar Detector is horrible, providing almost zero range. I actually owned the Phazer, which was just the jammer. I tested it with a friend who's a cop, and he got a reading every single time..... Luckily I sold it for what I bought it for (2 years later) so I wasn't too pissed. Then I got a V1.

There was a radar test that I saw and it tested about 7 different jammers and 5 different radar detectors and the Phazer and Phantom both finished way in last in their categories. The only two jammers that actually worked (and not all the time) were both over $400. The lazer jammer was the cheapest (around $400), and the radar jammer was closer to $700. Unless you're going to shell that out, you'll have a jammer that doesn't work.

If you want protection... drop $400 on something that works... the V1. Leave that other **** to uneducated consumers.

Not only have I heard that they don’t work, but also that they set off “normal” RADAR detectors in the area directly around the car.

I’ve notice this a few times myself when I get STRONG readings on my V1 when travelling in light traffic.
Once I kept getting a FULL alert signal from the rear whenever this RED pickup truck got close to me.
When we stopped for a light, I noticed “something” attached with a suction cup to his windshield.
I don’t know for sure if it was a “Phantom” or not, but it was driving my V1 buggy.
Once I pulled away from him by a few car lengths, the alarm stopped.
