How many have had blown tranny with headers. When the tranny dies, how many TL'er have brought thier car in for new tranny replacement with headers installed? Do Acura question about the headers or give you a hard time? I have Obx headers and if i go in for a tranny replacement, would they question me or void the warrentee with the aftermarket headers?

Thats the law but Acura can say anything. For example, They know that the tranny on our cars are weak, hence we put more power which will cause the tranny to fall apart sooner. And Acura might denied fixing the tranny if they see "Power Adder" Parts.

I have, and i had no probs w/ my dealer. allthough the service manage told me Acura claims looks down on that if they know and if you pursue a claim for faulty trans. ie; money

I have OBX headers, and my tranny blew also.

I had no problems with service department at all.

The transmission sucks with or without mods. You should have no problem.

they wont have a problem with headers, I had a battle with
my blown tranny cause of the S/C.
