My dad just got tints on his Maxima. He has a light gray interior. He got 35% on the 2 fronts and 20% on the back 3. I think that the 35% are too light on the front. You can still easily see right inside. If it is possible, you should go with 20% or even lower if you don't want to be seen inside. It all depends on your area and what you can get away with. I got TL tinted with 35% on the fronts and 5% on the backs, but I have a black interior. Tints add such a great look to your car.

Go with 20% all around. I have it and if I went any lighter you would be able to see right in

I got 35% all around but my car is black with ebony interior. Whatever % you get, keep it the same all around it looks more uniform that way.

I own a WDP and when i was getting the tints they put a sample of 35% and you could still see prettey good inside during the day, so i opted for the 20% all around. Much better and keeps the car cooler on hot days.

We got 25% all around, and both cars have parchment inside. You can see in just enough to see us staring back at you through the window. You can't see through except in the brightest of days with the sand and all...

I've just started to check into tint on my Y2K WDP/Parchment, more so for the sun protection as opposed to privacy. The two shops I've gone to so far want to install 35% on the front windows and 20% on the back. Should I pay extra for the 20% on the front and if so, how much? Would it really make that much of a difference as far as cooling the interior goes?
