Exclamation Penzoil Oil, and Tire presure question here...

Well, i needed to get my oil changed, woiulda taken 10 mins most. So i went tpo Frankel Acura where i bougth teh car. thier service desk are a bunch of assholes. I needed to get my oil changed, drove all teh way over to teh dealer, and they said " sorry i cant fit u in, cant spare 10 mins of my time." and they scould, it wasnt that busy!! So i got fed up, so i went to teh jiffy lude down teh street. And got it done in 5 mins. They used penzoil 5w30. Is that chill with the TL??? Also, they changed my tire presure to 35 psi without me knowing, routine i guess, they said it was too high, i had round 40 psi. How much presure u guys put in? THANKS

Most dealerships like you to call before you come in. Now if the car is not working take it in but not just for a routine oil change.
Some dealerships have first come first serve policy. I think Jiffy Lube put in the correct oil for you. The tire pressure was high. I think the TL tire pressure is 32 or 35 I forget but its inside the door. Now that the temp is getting warmer you don't want a blowout.

They did you good. 35 is good for gas mileage, i believe 32 is the recommended but 35 is fine unless you want to handle better, 32 would be better.

As per the manufacturer, 32psi is the recommended pressure for the car for optimal handling, mileage etc.

I work at jiffy lube so ill tell u that the oil that we give is just ok. its not the greatest. I think mobile 1 oil is good though. all my friends use it and the ppl at jiffy lube say its good. also u might wanna use synthetic. about the tires we always do that. we check whatever the manufacturer recomends.

I just got my 1st oil change at the Dealer today. Service was ok, and they give me a free car wash which is kinda nice. My only complaint was that I had to wait over an hour for the service. Seems kinda slow to me.

Also, I generally have no preference of motor oils brands, but I've heard bad stuff about Pennzoil from several friends.

35PSI is good if you've just been driving. Remember the recommended 32PSI is assuming that your tires are cold.
